This simple, finely crafted helm is in the style of the 15th century barbut, an open-faced helm which is lightweight yet provides excellent protection.

This particular barbut has a faceguard protecting the nose and cheekbone areas. A single spike adorns the top of the helm, providing both decoration as well as functionality when in battle. Crafted completely in steel, this piece is extremely durable, and of museum-quality. It makes an excellent piece to wear at renaissance fairs, and is easy to remove.

The simple, effective, hand-made hunting knife boasts full tang construction with a 3.75-inch, singled-edged blade. A burnt look accents the bone handle while etched grooves offer superior grip. Measuring 8 inches overall, it is topped off with a genuine leather sheath for easy transportation.
