WWII Uncut Chrome Chase Cards
To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of World War II and recognize the sacrifices made by so many Americans, the US Congress authorized a series of community celebrations. The purpose was to honor veterans, their families, and those who served on the home front as well as to develop a greater understanding of the history and lessons of the war.
In that same breath, 'A Grateful Nation Remembers WWII' commemorative cards were issued to cover the North African, European, and Pacific theaters.
Originally printed, cut, and placed into packs, they where made available across the country. These uncut sheets were recently found in a warehouse and had apparently never been cut.
Measuring a huge 28 x 39 inches, each sheet includes the complete 100-card set and is accompanied by the rare 10-card chrome foil collector's chase set.
